Critically acclaimed by the London Guardian for his "electrifying, high-powered perfomances", clarinetist Eli Eban joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at the invitation of Zubin Mehta. He has performed and recorded all the major orchestral repertoire under the world's leading conductors, and is in high demand as soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and teacher.
"I know Mr. Eli Eban's playing as soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra on various occasions under my direction. I find him as a clarinetist to have a most beautiful tone and an extremely virtuosic technique, and as musician he admirably equates these qualities into fulfilling the composer's demands in each instance."
